Robot Love

This is another layout that was laying around incomplete for quite a while, but because of focusing on these types of layouts for my Finishing Project with Simple Scrapper, I was able to get this one done!

This layout was a very modified version of a page kit designed by Just Kitting. It was originally a two page design, but with the photos I had and didn't have much to say, it didn't make sense to complete it that way.

Once I figured out what I was going to say, I typed it up, printed it out and cut into strips. 

Love how this one turned out and happy to have another layout finished!

 

Having a Blast!

Here is another Page in Progress. It is also another Disneyland layout as well as another kit from Just Kitting.

Love the dark background on this one since the ride is dark with pops of bright neon colors.

That paper piecing is just awesome as well!

Love that I am finally getting the words on these layouts and able to put them into my albums! Thanks for looking!

 

All geared up

 

Here is another layout that was in progress that I finally got completed!

This was a class kit that I created with my friend Tami Bastiaans, also known as PlaysWellWithPaper on Instagram. She is a big Tim Holtz fan, and now on his design team! The gears and use of distress are in line with her style!

To complete this one, I found a Project Life card that was in the same color as the yellow elements on the page. I ran it through my printer and then stamped the sentiment with some stamps from Ali Edwards from the drive story stamp. 

Love the ticket border detail and added some of my own metal gears to finish this one off!

Another Page in progress that I am finally completing!

This layout foundation was a kit that was part of a Lisa Bearnson collection of kits from Creating Keepsakes. Super old but super cute.

The chipboard stickers were not part of the kit, but paired nicely with the products in the kit. The collection of kits was very inexpensive and great starting points but for my style needed a bit more to feel complete.

Added a bit of washi tape, paper flowers, and sequins as finishing touches and called this one complete!

This is a story that goes in my son's first year album. So happy to have this complete to finish off that album as well!

Finishing another layout in my in-progress pile!

This layout is another from Just Kitting. 

Loved all of the palm fronds and leaves in this one. 

Used a Studio Calico date stamp, I believe to finish this one off.

Home Cookin’

Sharing another layout that I have had in progress for way too long! This layout is about a Thanksgiving we had at home since we lived in California away from family. Loved finishing it the week of Thanksgiving ten years later!

I used a kit from Just Kitting that has recently closed its "doors." Used a few stamps from Technique Tuesday and Ali Edwards to finish this one off.

 

These kits were known for their paper piecing. Gotta love those birds!

Here with you today to share another layout in progress. This layout is not quite as old as some of the others I have been working through. 

 This layout features papers from Basic Grey, I believe. 

I created another layout using this paper line and it was also for pages from LEGOland. 

Love all of the chipboard bits and how it came together. I am always a sucker for the grid.
