Ally - Month 9

Sharing another baby album layout for my daughter's album. This layout was inspired by Shimelle's Layer on Layer on Layer class for the lesson on color combinations.

Was pleasantly surprised when some old Fancy Pants rub-on in my stash worked beautifully!

 

Noteworthy- Baby Ally Vistors

 In trying to use up some of the Scrapbook Generation kits in my stash from years ago, I went through what kits I had and paired Baby Album stories that would work well with them. 

This one I altered a bit in that the camera print on the second page, was actually designed to use the A side of the pattern. Cameras go with anything and the carnival look and feel of the other design wouldn't have worked. 

I also created a photo collage that fit in the same sort of block from the original sketch that came with the kit to accommodate the photos I had.

Love that I could make this kit work and get it used in an album!

Delight

The layout I am sharing today and as inspired by the Delight Story Stamp from Ali Edwards.

The layout foundation was inspired by a sketch and I modified it to hold my story and photos.

The strips were the design element I was excited to play with. I thought about pulling out different border punches and pulling a collection of papers to create. As soon as I ran across this paper by Amy Tangerine, the work was done for me! I fussy cut all of the strips out to allow me to tuck photos in the layers as well as add a lot of dimension and texture. 

I used many of the Delight stamps on tags to tuck into the layers as well. Found a Amy Tangerine ticket from the same collection that was perfect as it had a five on it and there were 5 of us on this adventure.

It is a bit busy on the eyes but I love how it turned out!
