I finally finished up my 31 Things Class at BPC by Ali Edwards to start her One Little Word Class. I am so excited to complete my 31 Things Album (until she comes out with 31 More Things later in the year). Even more excited to have a class that fits my pace a bit better at one project a month so I don't feel so behind.
I am really enjoying the concept of this class. Check out the description here.
The word I chose was Savor. After following this blog, and what she had to say about her word, I knew this was the word I needed for 2013.
This is what I created for my first assignment for this class for January:
Each month I created an intentions for my word. I used a Studio Calico alphabet stamp set, Stepping Stones, I think, that I am in love with. I decided to use Basic Grey's Curio line for this. The colors seemed to fit my word best.
What I loved most about this project was that I went through my scraps and didn't have to buy anything (with the exception for the page protectors that I have also used in my PL already)! I used up my stash. I had been getting BG's kit of the month and I used the pieces I had left over, pieces I never really saw myself using.
For February's assignment, it was to create a vision board and this is what I came up with. I "collected" images from pinterest and created this collage in PSE.
It is amazing how these projects have kept my word more visible in my life. Really loving this class!
i love these! the girl made out of branches really speaks to me for some reason :)
