So I had seen Elise Blaha Cripe pick up these 7 Gypsy frames for her daughter's photos with Santa. I thought it was a great idea so for Christmas my MIL purchased two for me on clearance at Scrapbook.com
I had just found out that I was pregnant and figured that I had enough photos to fill one frame already and would easily fill another with new pictures of the baby (+siblings as long as they are willing) and Santa.
Here is how mine turned out.
I found a sheet of Simple Stories 3x4 cards patterned paper in my stash that I thought would be perfect for this project.
With the addition of some glitter tape (from my December Daily kits from Ali Edwards) and wood veneer, they were good!
Here are some close ups.
I went ahead and embellished the filler cards for the second frame. I added the glitter tape but I think I am going to be on the look out for some wood veneer in the shape of snow flakes and ampersands to finish this one off.
Here are some close ups.
This project didn't take long once the photos had been organized and printed. I had begun to purchase the CD of the images, once that became an option, others I had scanned or I had a slightly smaller image that came from my photo package that I had left over.
My kids LOVED seeing these frames. They loved seeing themselves getting bigger over time!
So glad to have this project completed and off my wish list! Can't wait to hang it up for the holidays this December!
Soon to come, my Easter frames :)
