This next layout I am sharing today has been brewing in my brain for quite a while.
The inspiration came from multiple places for this one.
The first was from the class from Stacy Julian, Inspired Scrapbooking, that I took at Big Picture ages ago. The prompt was to be inspired by a book.
The journaling was taken from a picture book Maddie and I read at the time of the prompt. You can get the full story on the journaling card in the middle.
The second piece of inspiration came from Ali Edwards' class, Hello Story. The theme was direction and this layout is somewhat scrap lifted from a layout she did in the class.
I also took inspiration from some of the products I had in my stash. I wanted to use arrows on this page, (hence the direction theme) and found some stamps and dies that I had purchased that are from Heidi Swapp.
I used a page kit that was in my stash from a crop I attended. We had played a pretty cool and fun game where you selected a few pieces of patterned paper that you wanted to create a kit around. Then a bag with those papers was passed around the crop. Everyone looked into their crop stash and included a few pieces like brads, glitter paper strips, gems, card stock, paper flowers and more to the bag. By the time your bag got back to you, it was full of coordinating scrap goodies to create with.
I started with a few pieces of Bella Blvd. Valentine/love themed papers. Not sure how old these are, but I still love them
Of course I added some things from my stash as well. The sequins, the stamped images, the love journaling card as well as a couple of Project Life 4x6 grid cards.
For the middle of this page, I used quite a few stamped images to create a border. I layered many arrow stamps from Heidi Swapp that were fussy cut out with a few circle sentiments from Ali Edwards.
I adhered some of the layers with foam adhesive and layered some gemstone brads, heart gems, flowers and sequins.
In the center, I used a heart shaped sentiment from the Up Story Stamp from Ali Edwards.
In the top right corner I repeated similar products in a cluster.
I used the story stamp for the numbers theme for the 10 things. They originally were circled, but I cut them out to fit the space that I had.
I embellished the card further with a "hers" circle also from Ali Edwards and some sequins.
This journaling card came from a cut apart from BoBunny. On this card, I decided to use my handwriting to record my thoughts. I also used the "story love" stamp (Story theme?) as well as the arrow circle for this card. Both are from Ali Edwards.
On the last journaling card I embellished with the "me" circle and again some sequins.
Really love how this one turned out. Love that I got so many stamps used on one layout!
Thanks for looking! Hope to have more layouts to share with you soon!
