December Daily 2016- Day14

Here is my December Daily layout for Day 14.

So this layout coordinates with day 13, using similar supplies. I used tags, and the stamped sentiments as well as the same papers.

I didn't have a photo for the story for this day, so I made the journaling the focus. 

I used a Studio L2e alphabet stamp set and one of Ali Edwards' crafters inks to create my title and fussy cut it out.

I am currently out of December Daily photos when writing this post, but have my photo order of prints full of the remaining December Daily images. Hoping to get the order finalized soon. I have 2 other projects I want to have photos printed for as well so when I have completed this project, I am ready to go on to the next!

Hoping there won't be break in posts, while I get my photos in order. But if there is, I will be back with the remaining days soon!

December Daily 2016- Day 13

Here is my December Daily layout for Day 13. 

For this layout, I loosely followed the structure of a layout done by Jana Eubank.

Papers are from the Alpine Frost collection from SEI.

Unfortunately the placement of the journaling wound up coming last, and of course I had more to say than I anticipated. (I need a good editor :) It feels a bit off balance, but just went with it.

Used a handful of die cuts from Simple Stories DIY Christmas collection, the tags, arrows hearts and stars. Used one of Ali Edwards stamp Christmas stamp sets for the sentiments.

December Daily 2016- Day12

Here is my December Daily layout for Day 12.

 

I coordinated the papers and embellishments with Day 11, since they would be facing each other. 

I placed the circles for this layout on the diagonal after placing my photo and journaling in a grid. 

Love how this one turned out!

December Daily 2016- Day 11

Here is my December Daily layout for Day 11.

I have been keeping a Pinterest board for scrapbooking using circles. I ran across a pattern from Simple Stories DIY Christmas that had circles stacked in the shape of a tree, but knew I wouldn't want to use the pattern in that way, so I punched all of the circles out, scrolled through my Pinterest board and found some inspiration to create this layout.

Used some silver washi from Little B, and a few stamps from Ali Edwards for the title and "give love" sentiment. 

The pattern paper base is from Stampin' Up! and the journaling card and photo mat was from Simple Stories.

Added some foam adhesive under some of the circles for added dimension.

December Daily 2016- Day 10

Here is my December Daily layout for Day 10.

It was game night on this day, my son's favorite. I pretty much let the base paper be showcased on this layout, but used some Simple Stories DIY Christmas Patterned paper as a photo mat, and some of the die cuts from that collection. Die cut the scalloped circle to layer with the circle I punched out of patterned paper from the SEI Alpine Frost collection to have a "home" for the number sticker.

Used a bit of black and white twine on the Tim Holtz metal number and layered with a few more of the snowflake sequins.

December Daily 2016- Day 9

Here is my layout from Day 9.

This layout wound up being a favorite of mine. I loved how the patterned paper peeked out at just the right spots. This paper is from SEI's Alpine Frost collection, back when I used to subscribe to their kits.

On a side note, I was surprised to see that they still have their membership and kits available. No commitment required, and you get a lot for the money!

Back to the layout.... I didn't have to do much to this in the way of embellishing because of the background, but I added a few stamped sentiments from Ali Edwards' stamp sets to have in 3 places on the layout.

December Daily 2016- Day 8

Here is my layout for Day 8.

This layout was the 3rd I completed. I had it photoed ready to share until I decided to go back and add the doily in the layers. I never got around to taking another photo to share, because making pages is so much more fun than that. :)

Most of this layout uses an old paper collection from Stampin' Up! The journaling card is from the Simple Stories DIY Christmas collection with a sticker to embellish from the same collection.

I didn't have a photo from this day, because it was about attending mass, and I tend to leave my phone in the car, but I did take a prayer card on the way out shown on this layout.
