Daddy’s Miracle

Last year, when completing some of the last layouts for my son’s baby album, I realized I needed to remove a few to allow it to fit into one album. This was a layout I took out. It had no journaling and little to no embellishments.

That’s how this one landed into the pages in progress pile.

Revisiting it, I added a tag with journaling as well as quite a few embellishments. It was kind of fun, going through my stash of baby boy embellishments, knowing that I had no future baby boy layouts in my future. It was kind of a now ir never scenario.

Love how it all came together in the end. This layout will is reside in our family albums. Goes to show it is never too late to add story.

Hello 2006

This layout foundation came from an old Creating Keepsake kit collection from Lisa Bearnson ages ago.

The page kits are a bit simplistic for my taste and were when I purchased them, but like this one were great starting points for a layout.

I finally finished this layout after some detective work on the date. These pictures were taken on a one-use disposable camera so they were not in my digital library with the date. I had to find the negatives and look at the photos before and after to pin point the correct year!

Things I added to this layout to make my own: Thicker titles remember and hello 2006 as well as the foam thicker stars. Also used some number washi tape from Kelly Purkey.

Loved how this turned out and happy to have it in my album!

School Zone

Another layout in progress complete! Really like how this layout turned out!

This is another kit from Just Kitting. Love the Arthur and his 3D backpack sticker!

The matte sticker paper worked well for my journaling for this one.

So happy to have this story in my albums!

Take the Plunge

As I tackle really old layouts, figuring out the details and even the date has become quite a challenge. I have had to reach out for help, but find their memories are as unreliable as mine!

This layout had photos that were taken with a one use waterproof camera. This meant that I didn’t have a digital copy or the date.

The design was another from Just Kitting. Other than Goofy and the beach ball, the rest was modified. I even added the splashes and waves since the bottom seemed empty.

Found a fabric splash sticker in my stash and added the journaling with clear label sticker paper. Wish I would have placed it a little differently, but it is good enough!

Another layout finished and on to the next!
