Aaron's 4th Birthday Gifts

Here is another layout created from a kit by my friend Tami

The colors and embellishments made me think "birthday"and I got into a birthday layout kick there for a while, so I went with it. Loved the die cut flowers made from playing cards and the bingo chip centers. Such fun!

Of course none of my layouts would be complete without photo collages or stamping with some Techinque Tuesday Ali Edwards stamps. Each stamped sentiment came from a different set.

Thanks for looking.

December Daily- Day 19

This is my layout for Day 19 of my December Daily.

So I cheated on this one a bit. The divided page protector for this one holds 2 4x4 openings and a two inch strip down the side. I had this 4x6 photo I wanted to use and I didn't want to have to buy another pack of page protectors for another option. Since the openings for the pockets are vertical on this one, I flipped it "upside down" and slid my photo into the bottom . I was then able to decorate the top with the 4x4 and the 2x4 strip. Nothing like getting creative with what you got!

Layered quite a bit on this one. Got a little creative with the letter stickers as well. The p is an "a" and "l" pieced together and the "y" was doctored as well. It is all good though!

Thought I ordered all of the photos for the next day (20), but that is a negative as well as the photos for the 22 and the 23rd. I have the 21st completed, and the 24 almost done. I also completed the title page, a calendar page, and intro page.

We shall see when this December album will get completed.....

I will share the completed album once it is finished! For now, on to other projects I have been working on! Will share again soon!

December Daily- Day 18

Here is the layout for my December Daily - Day 18.

This day was all things Santa! We mailed letters to Santa and then the kids met Santa as well.
All the elements used on these pages come from the Handmade Holiday collection from Simple Stories. Love that the elements on the photo of Santa were so small. They come from the 6x6 paper pack tiny like that. Love it.

Almost there! If you think I am behind on this project, don't ask where I am in my Project Life album for 2012!

December Daily- Day 17

Day 17's layout in my December Daily:

So for this day I decided not to use the number as a banner. It fit this element cluster better cut out this way. I think I am going to add a small photo of all of the sticker art the kids created in the title block. We shall see....

As for the bottom of the first page, I stamped the numbers found in the Technique Tuesday December Daily 2012 stamp set. and used the filled circle to highlight the day of the month. Used the polka dot stamp found in another one of Ali's Christmas stamp sets.

Keeping the design rather simple since I have the photo collages with so much going on.

On with the next!

December Daily- Day 16

Here is the layout I created for my December Daily Day 16.

(Addresses were blurred to protect the innocent. )

Used some twine on this layout and hung the number banner for the day on it with other banners and tags found on the Simple Stories Handmade Holiday sticker sheets.
Starting to run low on the alpha stickers from this collection so stamped "Christmas" from the Technique Tuesday's Studio AE stamp set for Oct 2012.

Loved the stamps I bought from the post office, even if it meant I had to stand in line forever to buy them!

Happy looking!

December Daily-Day 15

Here is my December Daily page for Day 15.

Used a lot of stickers on this layout. Most of them were alphas that I picked up at Archivers when they had Basic Grey items on sale. The word house was cut using my Cricut using the Opposites Attract cart. It has been too long for my Cricut to see some usage!

I know it is Jan 15 and I am just getting to posting the 15th, but I am still chugging along with this project! More to share soon!

December Daily- Day 14

Here is Day 14 of my December Daily album.

Here is where I stopped. I stopped printing photos, I stopped planning out pages. Life got busy. I did however, know what the pages were going to be about each day. Just never got it together to get it done. Kids got out of school, and there were lots of other things on my to do list.

This day I was on the road all day. My younger sister graduated from college at a university 3 and a half hours away. Luckily my MIL helped me watch my little one and I was able to attend. It was a lot of time in the car, and I was so excited to come home and see my house all lit up! It has been a long time since we have decorated outside for Christmas. Since 2006, I guess.

On the right side I used the Technique Tuesday December Daily 2012 stamp set for the title as well as the sentiment under the photo. I also used a Studio Calico stamp that was available on Black Friday--the geo tag with right here in the middle.

I struggled with how to use the pattern on the right side. I finally picked this day and thought to just add a journaling card and some washi so I wouldn't have to cover up too much of it. Love how it turned out.

Hope to be wrapping up my album soon. Waiting for some photos from Persnickety Prints and I will be good to go!

December Daily- Day 13

December 13th's layout is here.

When I took the photos for this day, I knew I had some trouble with my white balance. I tried to correct it, but was unsuccessful. I have been able to correct it, but I am waiting for its replacement, but thought I would photograph and post instead of waiting for it.

For this the first page is all photos. Photos of the kids writing their letters to Santa and then photos of the letters themselves. The kids mailed these copies, so the originals are gone. I had issues letting them go!

For right page, I played with some stamps. I used Technique Tuesdays Studio AE October 12 set and the December Daily 2012 set to create the borders at the bottom on top of the scallop border sticker.

Loving the size this year. Love that I was able to include so many photos and still have plenty of room to tell my story.

Thanks for looking!

December Daily- Day 12

Here is the layout number twelve for my December Daily album.

For this one, I used some Technique Tuesday, Ali Edwards stamps. I also used a Sizzlet snowflake die to put under the number pennant.

On the right side I went simple and used two photos and two journaling cards and called it good.

Created this one at my sister's house after the holidays. It was nice to have some time to catch up on this project and enjoy company while doing it!

December Daily- Day 11

Here is my Day 11 for my December Daily project.

I used a photo collage template in Photoshop Elements on the left page. I mounted it on dark brown cardstock and adhered it directly on the packaging from the day before. I liked the silver shine. Found some stickers from Cosmo Cricket that had lots of crafty goodness on it. My kids are always coloring, painting, etc. so I snatched them up. Used a bit of washi tape under the number and stapled it to the page protector since I had some issues with it wanting to slide out.

On the right page, I used more washi to adhere our paintings. I staggered them on the page so you would get a peek of each of them. Liked that this book wasn't all page protectors and makes this really easy to look through. Used another of the Cosmo Cricket stickers at the top.

December Daily- Day 10

You are probably wondering what happened to me during December and to my December Daily. If not, you probably had a crazy busy Christmas yourself and understand why I got behind.

Here is Day 10:

I created a photo collage using a digital template used here. Everything else is from Simple Stories Handmade Holiday collection.

I found it quite a coincidence that the cookie mix packaging fit almost exactly into the page protector so I just went with it.

More to come soon!
