Project Life- April 13-19, 2015

Here is my Project Life layout for April 13-19, 2015.

For this week's layout I used Bright, Bold, and Beautiful 2 kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs as well as my typical Ali Edwards' brushes, Messy Monthy Lines, Edge Sentiments and a few freebies.

Kept it pretty simple, using most pieces from the kit.

Brought it a strip of gold glitter tape from my stash and a "Party Time" brush but otherwise kept this pretty simple as well.

And there you have it. Another week in the books! Keeping up while I can!

Project Life- July 13-20, 2014

Here is another Project Life layout that I have completed from 2014. Still working on the backlog, trying to "catch up", if there is such a thing.

This one is from July 13-20, 2014.

This layout uses a kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs called A Tree is Nice. I thought this kit worked well for this week's layout because of all of the outdoor pictures and green and blue predominated the photos.

I started this week's layout on Sunday to Sunday because of our trip to Papa's house started then and it was easier to capture our visit with him all on one page that split on two layouts. Love that I can use that flexibility with this project if I want to.

Used Ali Edwards' Edge Sentiments but otherwise kept it pretty basic.

This page had a lot of photo collage templates that I used from Lily Pad and some that I altered from collages I already had and even created of my own (photo strip).

Used more of Ali's Edge sentiments and stuck to what was in the kit.

And there you have it. One week closer to 2014 being finished! Can't wait to have a chance to print this year's album and share it with my family!

Thanks for looking!

Project Life- June 30- July 7, 2014

I feel like I am on a bit of a roll! I have had a few of my back log weeks in progress, with the photos all in place. Some even had a kit or colors selected, so it was a matter of finishing up with journaling.

Here is my layout for June 30- July 7, 2014.

This weeks layout, I had selected so many of the digital products so long ago I am not sure where they all came from. If you are interested in any of them specifically, leave me a comment and I can look it up for you.

This week, being the Fourth of July week, I went with a Red, White and Blue color scheme. Just raided my stash for papers and embellishments that I thought went well together. Cool thing is, if the colors were just a bit off, with the power of PSE, I could modify them to match!

I used a Give Sunday quote from Ali Edwards' blog as a filler card.

Lots of photo love on the fourth! Kept it pretty simple with photos and words.

So happy to have another week done for my 2014 Project Life album! I don't know if it is the baby countdown (8-10 weeks, eek!) or what, but I am determined to complete as many as I can these layouts in the next few weeks. Only two weeks behind in 2015 and eight in 2014!

Thanks for looking!

Project Life- January 1-11, 2015

I recently received a photo that I was wanting to include on this week's layout from a friend. It inspired me to complete this week (well really week and a half) in my Project Life album.

It was surprising that with eleven days, that I wouldn't have enough photos to fill the two pages. I guess coming off the Christmas season, I just wasn't in the mood to take photos!

This week I used the Soul Happy kit from Sweet Shoppe Designs. Love the touch of gold glitter in this collection!

Used a twenty fifteen freebie from Persnickety Prints. Tried to keep it simple. Loved using the paint layered brush to the 4x6 journaling card. Looks cool, without the mess!

Kept this pretty simple as well. Stuck with things in this kit.

I think completing this page has inspired me to knock out a few more Project Life pages that I have on my to do list. Hoping to share them here soon!

Thanks for looking!

Project Life - April 6-12, 2014.

Here is my Project Life layout for April 6- 12, 2015.

The base of this layout uses a free kit from TracyMartinDesigns. This kit contained a lot of different green papers and embellishments and thought it made it look like spring, since there was so much green in my photos.

Used one of Ali Edwards' Give Sunday quotes from her blog as a "filler card" as well as her edge sentiments.

Kept it pretty basic this week.

And there you have it. Another week in the books! Thanks for visiting!

Project Life - March 30 - April 5, 2015

Here is my Project Life layout for March 30- April 5, 2015.

Being Easter week, I had too many photos to put on a double page spread so included an "insert" for this week.

Used the free digital kit, Pretty Sweet from Sweet Shoppe Designs for the base of this layout. Added some of Ali Edwards' brushes and a Cathy Z. heart brush and called it complete.

If you haven't seen my "inserts" before, since I plan on printing in a photo book, once this is printed, I will cut the margin off the side and it will be a half page in the album.

The Easter clip art I found on Pinterest, but I forgot where I got it from exactly. Super cute though. Had files of it in color and b/w.

And there you have it. Easter week in the books!

Project Life - 2015 cover page

I decided to start all of my pages for 2015. Put in the title "card" dates, start loading photos, and get an idea of how much I really need to do to get "caught up."

In doing so, I got started with my title page.

So here you go....my 2015 Project Life title page.

I had some gold foiled cards in my stash that I figured would be perfect for the title page. I also found the graphic with the "potty" people as a free download off Pinterest. It is customizable so you can add people and pets to fit it to your family.

Found some photos of each of the kids and a group family photo. Converted them to black and white (may need to adjust the contrast on the group photo and ultrasound. Didn't look as dark in PSE) and dropped them in. Added a clip art camera and a free quote in Ali Edwards' handwriting and it is done!

That leaves me 3 weeks left of 2015 and I am caught up.  Now to just get back to 2014....9 weeks to go for it.

Thanks for looking!

December Daily - Day #17

Here is my December Daily layout for Day 17.

Again, I kept this one pretty simple.. I just used a journaling card embellished with a wood veneer number that has been covered in red Stickles. Otherwise it is just photo and words.

And here is the page inside the album.

I did have an extra photo that I wanted to include. I used some red glitter tape from last year's kit and added a brad through it. Tucked it away in the top pocket, behind the other photo.

And there you have it. Day 17.

Project Life - March 23-29, 2015

Here is my Project Life layout for March 23-29, 2015.

This week's layout features a free kit from Persnickety Prints blog. You can get it here. Love when there are cute free kits out there!

Kept this week's layout pretty simple. I used a photo collage template, also from Persnickety Prints of Aaron hamming it up for the camera.

This page was pretty simple as well. Love when people  share their photos with me, like the selphies of the kids with Josh.

Thankful to have another week complete! Now if I could just finish up 2014 to get it printed!

Thanks for looking!

December Daily - Day #16

Here is what I did for my December Daily -Day 16.

I created a divider with part of a flocked transparent sheet that I picket up at Archivers when it was going out of business. I believe it is from Fancy Pants. I attached a label from Ali's December Daily kit, adding a gold Stickled wood veneer number. Attached a tab sticker also from the kit using Tim Holtz's tiny attacher.

Behind it are the letters that came in the mail from Santa.

Here is what it looks like inside of the album.

On my son's envelope, I embellished it with a journaling card (from Ali's DD kit). Used one of Technique Tuesday/Ali Edward stamp sets to stamp "moment captured". Using a Studio Calico speech bubble stamp, I gold heat embossed it and added some Fancy Pants alpha stickers as well as a scripty Basic Grey alpha. Used a couple of wood veneer pieces from Studio Calico to finish it off with a bit of journaling.

Still have to find something to attach to the envelopes (attach me stickers?) to have them in the ring binder.

And there you have it. Day #16.
