Design a Life I Love

Here is a layout I created using the Story Kit and stamp for the theme of Design.

The border stamping was a technique that Ali Edwards used in creating her layout for the classroom and I mimicked here.

Love how it turned out and I want to do stamping like this again on another layout!

 

Whole- Pieces of my day

This layout was featured in Spark Magazine issue #101 when I was a featured designer for Simple Scrapper for the month of October 2023.

This layout was inspired by Ali Edwards Story Stamp for the theme of pieces. I was encouraged by the class material to document a day in the life.

Because I had taken so many photos from the day that I wanted to include, I found a sketch that used photo strips. 

The Story Stamp included a set of pie charted circles that I used to embellish my page with. I struggled with how I wanted to color them and went with more jewel toned colored pencils to match the feel of the pattern papers I used from Jen Hadfield.

The title piece was created using a set of label dies from Stampin' Up!

Love how this layout captures so many little moments of our right now and have them all together to tell the story of our day.
